Elliott “Estated” started his interest for dj’ing around the summer of 2009. After a long period of musical projects everything was finally focused through one channel; the art of dj’ing. After teaming up with London-born and now Stockholm-based MC Alman, the career started of pretty good.
The duo had several sucessful gigs in Stockholm for a few years, but as the scene of Drum & Bass was kind of limited, so where the actual amount of gigs.Feeling that something needed to be done about the alternative scene in Sweden, since it was pretty much only Traffic Drum & Bass who had a continous venue where underground bass music was played, Estated now teamed up with the Visionfruit crew. A group of people striving towards music and art. The bass-oriented nightclub Söderdub was born, and got into a big success.
After a year or so the group got splitt up, and Estated continued on his own.
After a while he met the likes of Petter “Raz” & Jamie “JNB” the collective Back2Back saw its first days.
The self-runned nightclub Soundwaves took its first step, and a completelly new crew was born. After that day and the years before, Estated has been performing at places like Re:earth festival in Thailand to the venerable halls of Nalen in Stockholm, and most of in-betweens.
Warming up or playing in the same dj-booth as legends such as Goldie, Camo & Krooked, Krafty Kutz, Blu Mar Ten, Dj EZ, Ed Solo and Calyx & Teebee, just to name a few.
You can expect a ride through the world of high tempo bass music, in everything from 160-200 bpm. The idea is to take the listener for a journey that will fill him/her with all the different feelings you can get on a dance floor.
Hard, deep, happy, energetic, experimental and so on.
Always with a smile on his face!
